MOUNT ELBRUS IS THE HIGHEST IN EUROPE AND IT IS ONE OF THE SEVEN SUMMITS. IT IS LOCATED IN RUSSIA, VERY NEAR TO THE BORDER OF GEORGA. THE MOUNTAIN HAS TWO SUMMITS. THE WEST ONE IS TALLER AT 5642 METERS (18,510 FEET), THE SECOND ONE IS ON THE EAST AND IT IS 5621 METERS (18,442 FEET) TALL.
Elbrus is not really a mountain, it is a dormant volcano. Both of the summits are inactive volcano domes. It is one of the most prominent mountain in the world. Elbrus belongs to the Caucasus Range that separates Europe and Asia.
