From THE 1ST OF JUNE my daughter (Emma) and I will be undertaking the Wildlife Trusts "30 Days Wild" Challenge. Everyday in June we shall be doing something wild to make nature and the outdoors a greater part of our lives.
We shall also be blogging #30DaysWild.
I was thinking about a format to ensure our interest (ok I mean Emma's) are maintained throughout the month, so together we decided on an alphabet theme. Each day will be a different letter of the alphabet and we shall find something wild to do associated with it, ticking them off as we go along.
To make things easier we will not be doing it in alphabetical order because this would require far too much planning and organisation - something the volatility of childhood and the volatility of the English weather are unlikely to comply with. We will pick a letter based on where we are and what we feel like doing, seeing or learning about. On the first day of June we will sit down together and come with some ideas and readers of this blog will be introduced to Emma for the first time. Then, for the next 26 days, it will be one letter per day. However... have you spotted the problem here?
That's 27 days taken care of but what about the rest?
To make matters a little more complicated I am going to be away for a few days towards the end of the month but there should be people to step in to help out. The main question, is what to do for the last 3 days of June? And, I think I am going to throw it open to suggestions.
PLEASE LET EMMA AND I KNOW ANY IDEAS YOU MAY HAVE FOR THE LAST 3 DAYS OF JUNE.
We are happy to hear anything from anyone as we have plenty of time to decide... so, if you have any ideas please leave them in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
