Where is Mt Rainier

Mount Rainier is an active volcano, situated in the US state of Washington, in the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest.

This huge mountain is a mere 54 miles from Seattle (a city with a population of well over half a million people) and is the centrepiece of Mount Rainier National Park, in Pierce County, Washington.
